Strathclyde parkrun #162
First attempt at the flat-as-a-pancake Strathclyde parkrun, to test an injury, and fitness levels following not running much due to the injury. The Ben Lomond ankle seems fine, but the last mile or so wasn’t pretty; a useful reminder that training works.
Conditions were good, warm and sunny with a wee breeze. I set off quite briskly and opened a gap that stayed open until the finish, which finally appeared after the long home straight by the loch. 17.04 for a Westies win.
