The new version of the Kilpatricks Hill Race. Large scale forestry operations in the area saw a new route in 2018. Now the race is a short and speedy. It starts with a short run along the tarmac before winding along a narrow path to the most Westerly point of Slacks Ridge (CP1). Then the route takes you to the summit (CP2) via a choice of paths. A sharp right turn sees you heading south through the summit bog until you find the rapid descent down to the cattle-grid and final blast down the road.
