Glasgow Parkrun #251

Results

The last time I ran the Glasgow Parkrun (apart from last week with the Baby Jogger) was way back in November 2012, when I finished 3rd in 17:25.

This week it was cold and rainy. I set off reasonably fast, but without over-cooking it, and went through the first kilometre in 3:18.  I found myself in the lead fairly early on, but Stuart MacDougall briefly challenged me. We ran side by side for a few metres, until I decided to move on and step up the pace. For the last 3 kilometres I was running clear, and trying to maintain a reasonable pace.  My finishing time was 17:25, the exact same time as my last run in 2012.  Hamilton made up the Westies contingent with 22:14 for first MV60.
