Vitrified Fort

Another Winter league race for Lochaber, 5 miles 350 meters, with 1 more race to go in 2 weeks time. A lovely drive through from Kingussie to Fort William on Sunday morning, mainly Lochaber runners other than a few add ons. I was pleased with my run, but thought I would make under the hour to find out I was 1h 35 seconds, never mind 1 min & 40 seconds quicker than 2 years ago.  It was a bright & sunny morning where 36 runners headed off to do the race, a hard uphill start which never seemed to end & it was not much easier coming back down on a hard gravel track.  Manny was 3^rd with a time of 36.12, sitting good position to win the V40 category.
