The Dark Side of Dumgoyne

A last-minute change of route for the Wednesday run saw eight Westies climb Dumgoyne and trot out to Earl’s Seat on a chilly autumn evening. As the gloaming turned to dark, we were left with just the full moon, flitting back and fro behind clouds, to light our way along the ridge. I do so love running in the moon light. We resisted the temptation of head torches even in the shadow of Dumgoyne, where we stumbled along in almost total darkness. A wonderful night.
