The four of us – Karine, Cameron, Stanley and myself – met up at Loch Tannoch on clear and frosty Sunday morning. When we set off at 10 there was still plenty of icy patches, but that was soon going change. Marvelously warm sunshine provided a super backdrop to what was going to become a highly enjoyable Sunday down into the Blane Valley. We headed down the WHW to the Dumgoyne Distillery, then to the top of this favourite hill, down the back of it to the Waterboard track to the Strathblane monument. From there we took the B821 to pick up the Westies Xmas Handicap route and then south, joining the Childrens Home run, over the top of Mugdock Park and back to the start. This was probably as nice as a November day can get. Great company. Thanks.
