Results

Maryhill Park hosted a real tough muddy icy Cross Country yesterday and the Westie guys were out in force with Ellie our female interest in the race. We managed 2 male team counters with James 4th Jon 6th Gregor 11th and Johnston 19th grabbing 2nd team place and Michael Sweeney 20th Steffen 39th Ken 45th and JQ 46th,  8th team place. Don and Gibson completed a great turnout of 10 Westie guys.

Duncan Riddell came in 2 places behind me but I dont think he runs as fast in Maryhill colours.

Ellie is getting back to her best since Benjamin has decided recently that night time is the best time for sleeping! She came 8th and Sarah 13th albeit in a Maryhill vest.

The conditions were brilliant if you like real X Country, with the glaur and freezing flooded areas adding to the fun.

More of the same I hope in 2 weeks time for the West CCC in Greenock.
