6 mile trot over some lovely countryside on a perfectly sunny February day. This is the life … unless of course you’re Sheridan. Well what can be said? In the 1985 Hill Running Championship Campbell has a 100% record of victories over William ‘oh i’m scared i’ll hurt my legs’ Sheridan. Excuses can no longer be supplied for such pathetic performances by WS. Why o why does he let himself in for such embarrassment? Does he forget these are real men’s races? Not meant for boy wonders of the road.

Oddly enough AJC considers this victory as meritorious as a triathlon win. Odd that is because this type of event is as demanding as a triathlon without the canoeing the running or the cycling.

Why couldn’t AC WS and IS get the name of their club right. Westerlands AC indeed. Not even God would name a club after AC.
