Whangie Whizz 2006

Another successful race. A record field of 151 in the seniors and another dozen in the junior race means that we’ve probably reached the limit for this event. Certainly the landowner will need some placating before we’re allowed to race in 2007. Still, we had a new woman’s record from Angela Mudge. Incredibly, in addition to 19 Westies marshalling, recording and doing results, we also managed to have 23 running in the senior race and another 4 in the kid’s races…this must be some sort of a record?

Thanks to all those who helped out, and also to Trossachs Search and Rescue for doing their bit as well.

I’ll leave it to someone else to write an actual race report,. since I never managed to get out onto the hill.
