Overtoun delights

A star-lit night, torch light, wet trods, mud, rock scrambling. It can only be a Westies mid-winter Wednesday run. This one was from Overtune House, across to Doughnot Hill and then Lang Craigs. Numbers were hard to judge. There may have been 15 of us all up. I ran with a group of 10 along the “official” route (as reccied by Gregor earlier in the evening). We bumped into Helen, Pat and Sharon along the way, doing a variation of their own (spontaneous) invention. We also spotted two mystery lights following behind our group, but never managed to meet up with whoever you were. Hope your evening was as much fun as ours! Thank goodness for a wee burn at the end for washing all the mud off. Wonderful route, great company.
