North Berwick Law

Another great evening race – why has it taken me so long to discover them all!?!

The weather was perfect for this short 3 miler through the streets from North Berwick harbour to the whale bones at the top of The Law and back again. There was even some east coast haar trying to hold onto the summit but the evening sunshine was winning the battle.

Being such a short race it was over very quickly, it really was just a sprint through town, a lactic burning climb followed by a have you got the balls descent, then the final sprint back to the harbour. It was an inspiring finish as half the town had turned out to cheer us all on.

In amoungst the 150 or so runners I did spot another Westie vest venturing over to the east, though didn’t get a chance to find out who it was.
