As Sam Torrance said,(if you’re interrupting again saying That boy’s got the wrong  sport……..just,just, bear with me)…….”That putt on the final green was looking so good, until he hit it”. Well there we were – the throng, jiggling around on a fine soft morning. Yes, looking so fit,as fit as the proverbial Butcher’s dog…………….it was all downhill after that. Actually,yes actually it was quite literally downhill………….and after 2-3 K seriously downhill, for a Road Race you understand.Oh, yes, not a real hill. Still, mmnnn that’s going to be painful on the way back my boy.

Perhaps after a couple of K …………what’s this a Westies vest storming ahead (had’nt seen any all day?). Andy(Freer) where were you – was looking for you – Sally said you’d be there? You must have been so fast,I missed you. Well it was Christopher in the vest and he had a stormer,despite what he says.

So,who else was there? B.B. for a start. No, no, not our Brian – he would’nt disgrace himself,sorry grace himself with a showing at a RoadShow. No, yer man Brian,from  Bella – something to do with that thing called the Wireless is it?

Well the results ain’t out yet. Presumably someone  won and others followed………eh,eh, can’t get better than that. Quite frankly dear, who gives a damn.

Now where’s that “proper”hill………………………..
