Edinburgh Cross Country

Here goes… Good weather conditions, no wind or rain..only the threat of a light drizzle. I always knew that Edinburgh would be slightly colder than Glasgow and fully prepared for this by bringing along lots of warm clothing and a translation book just in case I met any foreign internationals. The atmosphere was electric which

Skye Bridge 10K

This was to be the last race for me before my long rest for September. The conditions were drizzly with high winds which were felt during the drive up to Kyle of Lochalsh. This year there were around 90 runners which broke last years record and taking of records well, wait for it. Alan planned

The gun went and Nigel quickly established himself as one of the favourites keeping in touch with the leaders. Chris

Strathcarron 10k

Ran a 10k road race in and around Denny this morning. It was extremely cold and windy. The course has a fast 3k and then was followed by a number of tough climbs and sharp bends including one at an acute angle of 19 degrees on the right which almost caused severe injury. The last
