Lasswade 10-mile Road Race

My 3rd race of the weekend, and by far the toughest. To start off with the Lasswade 10M race is not at Lasswade, but at Rosewell which is not the easiest place to find, even with sat nav when roads are blocked off, and new roads have appeared.

It was pretty cold, but OK once you got going. I started slowly and never really speeded up until the last mile, when I decided to pass a couple of Moorfoot guys and a Portobello runner. As expected, I just missed the hour, with a time of 1:01:07. Kerry Liam Wilson won the race from Paul Acari in 54 minutes something.
