This may be a small race but it is a classic. Even the plethora of midges couldn’t spoil the enjoyment of this race. Alistadair Anthony won in 27:17. There were 7 Westie men in attendance.

Although I was last Westie I was 3 minutes faster than last year so happy days. Well done Murdo, Sixty in 3 weeks! No Way.

There were actually 8 westies in attendance as I am sure I heard the dulcet tones of Brian Brennan shouting encouragement on the ascent. Cheers Brian, Nice headgear. JQ
