Ben Lomond Hill Race

Results

A good turnout of 14 Westies running at Ben Lomond. Shona was 2nd lady overall and took the 1st F40 prize.

Niall and I got off the hill just in time before the heavens opened, with thunder and lightening booming and flashing over the bedraggled runners finishing soaked to the skin. I didn’t envy the marshalls too much, and heard that the last couple of runners were turned back before the summit.

The race had 2 new winners: Paul Faulkner and Sarah McCormack.
