Oppressively hot day but didn’t take it easy and not a drop to drink. Legs wobbled free well before the end. Quality Westies turn out. Isabel cajoled into attending by promise of company from Carnethy social runners. Westies outnumbered by Bog Trotters. Guest appearance by YP at the 11th hour, literally but luckily a bar extension by train, bus, foot and a few pints. Early retreat to Glasgow precluded the treat of seeing YP at Ceilidh. Next year … seriously would be a good venue for Trotter gubbing. Mark Rigby came 1st.
