Ochils 2000
It was a near perfect day for the Ochils 2000. There isn’t much need for me to write a race report as Chris has documented my race very well in his blog…

It was the boggy, tussocky hell between Blairdenon Hill and Dumyat that did me in – at one point I was rolling around in the middle of it trying to get the cramp out of my legs. After walking off the cramp I started working back through the field, helped immensly by the juice my (sorry, Chris’) support crew offered – thanks Ellie, would have struggled even more without it!
There was a great turnout from Westies – I’ll look forward to hearing the stories from the route as I didn’t manage to catch up with anyone afterwards.
