Willie Reid performed well after rushing over from his zoo – now consisting of 1 dog 3 cats 2 guinea pigs 2 bunnies and a donkey not forgetting Kate. He says he gets a better training session with that lot than with the Westies animals. Dave Thom looked up the atlas and found out that Westerland was an island off Denmark – possible venue for the HBT Grudge Match?

A good run from A Cameron, he got round the course faster than it took him to drive to lock 27. I think there should be a prize for first to the bottom of the first hill, before you go up! As usual we beat all the HBT’ers who turned up. Andy ‘I’ve only done 6000 x 400m this morning ‘ Brown blamed too much weight training for running slower than me, a lovely day for trouncing A Brown. He claimed to be still stiff from hill running and looked like a natural victim. Unfortunately his scalp is still intact. Dave Calder ran like the unfit carthorse that he is and there was no whisky galore for Dave ‘winedrinker’ Thom. He doesn’t realize that whisky is a man’s drink not for the likes of him. It looks like Archie is back on the steroids again to enable him to finish ahead of the Westies Vets & Carthorses. A complaint against the fishul Aldridge – why can’t he write down the times a bit faster? After all he’s had plenty of practise recently.

Mr Aldridge is complaining about Westies runners being too close together, either there will have to be a minimum of 2 minutes between runners – see Ian Struthers – or the number of competitors will have to be limited to a maximum of 3 per race.
