Luss highland games race

I did this race a week ago and was surprised to be the only Westie in a highland games so close to Glasgow. The race is very short, less than 5k, and the main problem you have, apart from the sharp climb is finding your way back down through the bracken, fields, and farm yards in order to get back under the main road and then to the games field. The race was won by Damian Theaker of Helensburgh and I’m sure any of our young fast chaps could snap up the first prize of around £50 next year. Great wee games and plenty of things for the family to do while you’re running.
