Leg 6&7 Bridge of Orchy-Kingshouse-Kinlochleven: Had just finished changing and getting ready when I looked up to see Blair sprinting towards the bridge.Set off in bright sunshine which lasted until the white corries, when it started to get a bit overcast and cooler. reached the Kingshouse in 1.26, gulped down a pint of ginger beer that charlie had got me, then headed off again. Flew up the devils staircase, and was going well at this point, but as soon as I started to descend, began to get twinges of cramp in both legs, so ended up having a pretty lousy descent (no change there). Into KLL in one piece but was almost run down yards before the finish as a car passing from behind missed me by inches – Cheers Charlie- finishing in 1.22. Then it was a quick can of beer and a mars bar before heading off to the Fort to watch JD take the team home in 7th place.
