Houston Road Relay

Don, Sam and myself made it out to the Houston Road Relay on Saturday, with Sam doing the 1st and last leg as we didn’t get 4 runners out there.

It’s nice out there around Houston, a bit hillier than I expected, with tree-lined winding roads.

Sam ran the 4.4km in about 15 mins, a good run keeping us near the top 10 teams initially, and myself and Don ran pretty well, 16 mins 20s and 18 and a half mins respectively.

Chris Upson got a few photos of us, and we finished about mid-table, and enjoyed a few sandwiches and tablet in the church hall.
