Deuchary Hill Race

Results

This is one of my favourite hill races – a low key run through the woods and rolling hills around the Athol Estate. It’s a mix of narrow, winding trails in the trees, wider forestry paths and landrover tracks, not forgetting the meander up the side of Deuchary Hill.

It was a beautiful sunny Sunday which reminded me why I love hill running so much.

Millie, my parents dog, ran the route with me but I think she found it a bit easy as she carried a stick round in her mouth for most of the route – she was mistaken thinking I had the energy to throw it for her!
