It was a of day 3’s at the inaugural Cobbler Hill Race. We had:

– 3 Westies winning prizes.
– 3 Westies working behind the scenes.
– 3 Westies causing bedlam on the hill.

Tom Callan took 3rd place. Don Reid took 1st V60 and Paul Strachan got the 1st V70 prize. Ross Morris was only 25 seconds behind Tom, and David Stakes came in under the 1.5 hr mark.

A big shout out to George Douglas, he was a huge help to the race director Brian Cook to get this race off the ground. His duties didn’t stop there, as George is part of Arrochar MR, he was on the summit with the comms, and also got to down to the hotel to help with prize giving.

As for the boys on causing bedlam… JQ managed to hitch a ride with MR and some blonde, who verified that he was safe to let in the vehicle. As for the other two Westies then can explain for themselves what they got up to ?
