Clydebank 10k

After gradually whittling down my 10k times, I finally managed

to break the 40 minute barrier for the first time at the Polaroid

Clydebank 10k last night with a clock time of 39:25. The conditions were ideal with a relatively flat course and no wind to speak of (I had avoided the baked beans beforehand).

Up front, Robert Gilroy was doing well but no match for the 3

Shettleston Eritreans, the winner finishing with an amazing

time of 29:37.
