24 in 72

Hi all,

Good to see so many members out storming round the hills in the yellow and black in recent weeks.

Before I made up the numbers in hill running I played a little bit of rugby. One of my fellow players from those days, Doddie Weir,  has recently been diagnosed with MND, a horrible disease that as yet has no cure. To raise awareness and a bit of research cash for his MND foundation I decided to set myself a little challenge involving my favourite wee hill. I’ve put a website together that tells you a little bit more.

If you fancy coming along for a trip up the old rock you would be more than welcome. I will put the start times on the website nearer the time. For any rugby fans out there the Calcutta Cup will be at the top of the hill for pictures on Sunday the 24th between 2 and 4pm. Alternatively if you could share/pass on the site details on social media that would be great. If you did have a few coppers to add to the pot that would be most welcome but I appreciate that a lot of people give in many different ways to many different charities so that’s up to you.

Maybe see some of you in Arran this weekend.

Cheers,

Gordy
