Grudge Match 1989

The Great Annual Grudge Match and piss up somewhere beyond Milton 1989

As no runner seems to have enough energy left to express themselves in a literary manner it is left to a mere has been to produce words of wisdom. Stop press: the Campbell race making machine claims its first broken bone! Take a low bow Ms Jones’ right arm … now for the first death.

Poor Willie Reid: a man well scalped over this undulating scenic course, he’s now going bald on top, talking of which I was scalped by a woman with a broken arm. This is just to get that in before anyone else. An outstanding course, unusual for A Campbell. I could actually run all the way except when I fell on my bum. The good point about this is that YP was in front of me and when he jerked round he fell on his nose, ha bloody ha!! If only the other two Boggies had done the same. The course was excellently marked though I think Dave Dave may have trouble collecting the toilet paper. Greatest part of the day was that Archie did not get lost.

The East coast bounders forgot to bring the trophy with them

TBB was given a special prize of gloves although they are thought to be second hand ladies finger receptacles.
