- Eleven reps with a focus on the longer efforts. Tonight we shall be judging pace, working on stamina and focusing on resilience. Reps get no tougher than this and this will be a crux session in moving people through towards race fitness. Three to start, five longs, three to finish.

A great session for all aspirations and one that really shakes you into be able to work through overload at the top and keep moving. Remember that not many hill races stop at the top. - Cleveden hill reps for real. Tonight the session is 12 short and sharp reps on the real Cleveden hill by the canal. This is all about strength and a good session for those short and sharp early season races. If you are late please remember we are not on the normal hills, no excuses now.

- Milngavie - Clober Road bridge car park
- Distance - 12 km
A run along tracks around Milngavie that will take in Mugdock Park, Waterworks, Dougalston Woods and the Kelvin Walkway. Track, grass with a little road.

- 6.45pm start at Auchinstarry Quarry, near Kilsyth.

Route map
Leave the quarry and head west along the canal bank to Twechar, turn left and up the main road, then after a few hundred metres take a track on your left, signposted for the Roman Fort. Follow the track for a few hundred metres up hill, turn left at the big concrete pill box, and over the grass to the ruins of the fort. A little jog out to the trig point of Bar hill gives great views of the whole valley, then continue east to meet the main road. A quick right then left takes you by the village and on up Croy Hill then drop all the way over NE to the road bridge on the canal. Return along canal on north side back to Auchinstarry.

- 7pm start at Clachan of Campsie.
3.6 miles of trail, hill and road. A good idea to wear refelective gear for the dangerous unlit road section running down Crow Road into Lennoxtown.

Route tips:
1. Branch right just before (below) the Crow Road car park to keep below and right of the car park.
2. Cross main road directly and stay slighty right as you head up to the brick bunker.
3. At the bunker turn 90 degrees right, contour a few metres across a small stream, then descend straight down rough grass and bracken to hit the main road, and turn left downhill to Lennoxtown.
- Blanefield Circuit

- Blanefield Monument
- Distance 10K (6.25miles).
Starting at Blanefield Monument the route goes up Stockiemuir Road to first bend then turn right along a track to meet the West Highland Way. Follow this out to Glengoyne Distillery. Cross the stile opposite the distillery and head across a field to the main A81 road. Cross the road and head towards a stile on the grass verge beside the distillery. The track goes uphill to join the Water Board pipe track which is followed back to Blanefield.
