CORT MA LAW RUN AND CURRY NIGHT
Hanging about the Crow Road car park the omens didn't look good as it was wet and windy and Nigel seemed to have already left us all behind. However the Westies crew are not easily put off and @ 15 or so of us, and a few latecomers, headed up with a tailwind bound for Cort ma Law and Leckett. As usual it was wet and boggy underfoot, though dry if a bit chilly on top. The trudge across to Leckett was as bad as ever, though at least no one got lost this time, mainly due to following Roddy in his dad's dayglo pyjama bottoms. At the Leckett there was a split with some taking the "old" race route down to the road and others the new route down the gully and back down the main ridge. Seven of us then braved the desolate badlands that are BishyBriggs to enjoy a good curry at the Shimla Palace. See you all next week at Captain Chris' Dumgoyne handicap.

Yeah, did no-one tell Rod that you only gets points for fancy dress at the handicap next week, or maybe he'll appear then, even more flamboyant. At least he's giving big Davy a run for the money in the day-glo stakes!
