DUMGOYNE IN THE DARK

A smaller than usual bunch of "real Westies" braved the wintry wastes of the Campsies for a "run" up Dumgoyne and Garloch Hill last night. Hardly a need for a head torch, despite the lack of a moon.Plenty of snow and pretty deep and crusty in places. We were even visited by the local Police at the finish as someone had reported in the flashes from our cameras! A nice wee adventure.

Waow! Someone reported Westies flashing at the top of Dumgoyne and the cops were called - looks like the rest of us missed another classic. Was it not a wee bit cold for getting your flash bulbs out !?

Didn't think the polis headed that far away from the warmth - anyway I kept my head down and let the social sec ...well be social with the kind officers.
