Moffat Hills
4th March 2006
Dave Rogers, Trevor, Steffen and I went for a great run on the Moffat Hills in the snow. We parked at Grey Mare's Tail car park and head up steeply by Tail Burn before striking up to Watch Know. We then circumnavigated Loch Skeen via Lochcraig Head to White Coomb. Arriving at Rotten Bottom, Trevor remembered he was due at Cumbernauld in less than 2 hours and made a sharp exit. Dave, Steffen and I plodded on to Cape Law and Hart Fell, then a runnable descent via Swatte Fell, and very steep finish down to Blackhope.
