Devil's Burdens Recce Run
15th January 2006
Nine of us set out from Falkland on Sunday morning - Murdo, Trevor, Steffen, David, Fraser, Val, Cat, Val and myself. Pretty cold and windy on East Lomond, but warmed up after Holl Reservoir. Cut across to Bishop Hill, then West Lomond, where somehow we lost Fraser in broad daylight. After much hunting, his day-glo yellow top gave away his position, hiding at the top of the hill when all the rest of us had descended. Then a final jog back along the forest tracks to Falkland, and much needed tea and soup at the Greenhouse Restaurant.
