Ok - now that it seems to be common knowledge, a couple of us Invernesians (Myself and Fran Williams of HHR) were planning on having a crack at the Bob Graham Round in May next year.

Steffen having ridiculed the idea to start with, is coming round to the idea of having a go (Does the slap up meal and booze offer still apply, mate ?!) - well I suppose he did say he'd have to be there to push me into the ambulance anyway !!

On advice from Westies BGR vets, Pete Baxter and Keith Adams (oh and this link: http://www.metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/singularities.asp ) we are looking at Saturday 13 May as a first date for an attempt - as a bonus there is a full moon that night too. However, having read of numerous attempts failing due to lousy weather, we're saving the following 2 weekends (and a little mid-week leave) just in case. We'd rather (understandably ?) try it in the best possible conditions.

(You should be aware that the Island peaks race is scheduled for 19 May and Jura will probably be the following weekend)
