OCTOBER CURRY NIGHT

For October we tried one of Glasgow's newest curry houses, but one bearing an old name - BALBIR'S on Church Street. There was a great turnout of @15 Westies and it seemed to be enjoyed by all.It was a nice spacious venue and the curries were tasty. I had Salmon Bengali style which was great and there were plenty of empty plates at the end. One to which we may well return in 2006.

What's all this 'alternative' stuff? Is elitism creeping in or were the alternatives just feart of some nice cows and a bit of mud?Oh well, I was going to give JD my Xmas Dinner deposit cheque at Queen's view but I'll have to post it now - 2nd class post of course!
