Meikle Bin via the Lecket

New recruit Alister, who joined us last week at the Croy Hill run was waiting patiently at the roadside below the climb up to the Lecket. And it's just as well Val offered me a lift or the pair of them may have been the only club reps who turned out for this tough Wednesday night run last night. As it turned out there was a nice wee "crowd" of us.

The route length was probably only about 7 miles or so but because the terrain was so rough in parts, with 5' high grass, it felt longer; eventually taking 95 minutes to complete the route.

With a quick dash back to Garscube to take advantage of their wonderful FREE shower facilities, I managed to zoom down to Mr Singh's for 9.30pm to find nobody waiting for the spicy feast... a few minutes later though Val, Charlie and Liz thankfully appeared. I'm not sure they'll be happy to accept another booking of twelve from us again.

Check out the curry page for the results of the 'curry poll'.

Yeah, but you should see Mr Singh's 'running club poll' - Westies don't even get into double figures. Let's blame JD for booking too many places! (and he's not even here to defend himself - hee hee)
