went to dundonald expecting to see a few W,not 1 but arch rival Mcmanus was there (and he did Ben Rinnes ). large field set of,as usual took time to get breathing going,but caught Mcm at 1M and kept pushing . lots of ups and downs in first half,feart to look round it wasnt till i passed Margaret with a 1/2M to go she told me he was 50met back so i just put head down and belted for the line.Delighted to beat him i was even more pleased to be handed an envelope and told i was first / 60.rushed to tell M and then heard name on loud speaker to report to the finish.I said to M this will be to get picture for local paper.Alas not to be,had recheck and found I was not 1/60.Never mind I still beat Mc m
