Glamaig
It was good to see plenty of Westies at the Glamaig race.
I watched the race in 2003 and 2004 and was running out of excuses not to take part. I hope you all enjoyed it - I did!

Yeah, smashing event again. Could become a favourite after missing it for the last two years. Truth be told, having an offer to stay at Alan Wilson's rather than camping outside the hotel made this decision an easy one [silly comments invited!]. A million thanks to Al and Katherine for the hospitality and bacon, beans and eggs lunch before the race! Went down a stormer!!! Also stunning performances by Nigel and Johannes and the rest. Results on shr site as usual. Great evening in the Sligachan Hotel afterwards with too much ale and dodgy dancing (Sorry for the last one, Jane). Did a little waterlogged and misty Marilyn with Chris on Sunday. Helped tremendously to clear the cob webs and hangover. Yours truly, Steffen
