Moffat 15 KM

As part of the Moffat Festival of Running (15k,4.5k,& 2.5k) Blair & Hamilton tackled the 15k Road Race. A road race, but not entirely as we know it Jim. First 3.75mls.road-a gentle rise of 350 feet, then just under a mile steep farm track rising 550 feet, then all downhill back to Moffat on A701.

So,that's fine then, just a breeze ain't it. Eh no. How many excuses can we dredge up?

One: the weather. May as well shout Robin Williams like in Good Morning Vietnam: "What's the weather gonna be like today? Hot, Damn Hot". Well at 7 o'cock normally-nice & cool. Not this time.

The now familiar start slow & taper off, could well be translated to start at a crawl & expire in pools of sweat. You think I'm exaggerating. No,not a chance.

Good little race, well organised, well water-stationed (Blair says that he had a chat with all of them!)

At time of writing results not available.

Hamilton 65.50

Blair 72.00 was it?
