Tour of Clydeside Hill Race
Thanks to Helen et al. for a successful first Tour of Clydeside hill race in the Kilpatricks. A pleasant dry, clear evening made for good running (and Marshalling)with about 39 runners taking part and, from the summit cone, it looked like 1st male for Cambuslang and 1st female in the form of Alice for Westies - well done! Results to be added and a few photo's soon.

Great night, great race. My quads are dead after the long climb and quick descent. Only three more races to go in the series.

Dear Red&White Dynamite,
If you think that is good, you should come out to the Westies hosted race of Whangie Whizz, next week, Wednesday 27th April. This little blast isn’t much further, 4 miles with about the same amount of climb (8-900ft), and would probably suit you road and track folk more, by being a glorified muddy cross country course with a wee bit of climb. With such experts as Colin Donnelly and Davie Rodgers in the ranks, you guys should do well – let’s see ya!!
