Bridge Inn 5k, Bristol

Race no.5 of the Bridge Inn 5k Winter series. Somehow missed races 2, 3 and 4. The route is an out and back along the Bristol ring road cyclepath. Very cold, but not windy.

The usual hanging on in there and trying to ramp it up at the end, but found no change of speed for the run in. Felt much slower than race no.1, with freezing air hitting my lungs, so was surprised that my time was 3 seconds faster, although still not inside my 17:30 target.
