STEF AND JD DO BEN LOMOND
No one else took up our offer of a Saturday trot up the Ptarmigan Ridge and down the tourist route , and you all missed out on a fantastic day - blue skies, lovely cool temperature and fantastic views. Check out the pics.

I had to be in Glasgow at lunch time so set off earlier at 9.00 with the thermometer reading -6C at the bottom. Ice was a bit dodgy on the descent but the views were fantastic and the hill empty except for some berk in a light plane who "buzzed me" at the top.
