Dear Andy,
We, the Hunters Bog Trotters wish to thamk you heartily for the recent fixture at Bardowie and for relieving us of [C..... ...] trophy which was becoming somewhat irksome to dust.
Furthermore we express our appreciation for the magnificent refreshment provided for us at Battlefield and hope that the few of us who survived to attend this feast did sufficient justice to the provisions as to make your insubstantial efforts worthwhile.
We look forward to having you as out guests in the Orient sometime mutually acceptable in August / September.
