Summer League Update
Congratulations to our new Champion, Chris Upson, who secured the title in some style at the Pentlands, putting in an impressive PB time to claim the max points and put himself out of reach of Ronnie & Don.
Don seemed to have honker, only just sneaking in front of Dundee's famous Charlie Love who is 89 and runs with a zimmer, but he still bagged 15 points that keeps him in the hunt for 2nd spot.
Poor Trevor found out the hard way that a running bonk is not just quickie in the heather, although Steffan, with another superb run, seemed to enjoy getting it right up him, along with JD and the Don.
Damon somehow managed to get 19 points for another duff run, but what he really needs is 19 points on how to train correctly!
The burds had better watch out for next season because if Sarah has a go at the league they will all get a doing, based on this fine performance (following the 2Brews)a full 10 minute ahead of league leader Elsie who is hanging on defiantly from Ana.
The last race,Tinto, looks like being a cracker with the lassies title going to the line and who knows what can happen in a short mad dash.....?
