Ras Y Cnicht
aka Cnicht Hill Race 4.5m/1850'
A fun low-key race in Wales yesterday. Steep tarmac, track, open fell, then a very steep rocky scramble to the summit. Dangerous descending at first down precipitous wet rock, before hitting more runnable terrain. About 35 runners. Was 6th to the summit but finished 11th in 43 minutes. 1st and 2nd were James McQueen and Chris Near, both of Eryri.
