Round Arran Relay Road Race
This years event takes place in Arran (just in case) on the 24th July but even although it is a while away it would be good if we got ideas of number who may be willing to participate in this great race.
If fit I would like to be part of the Westies team so if any one is interested please drop me an e-mail to marcosm@ntlworld.com.

The 24th July is a Saturday, which is a break from the past? Still, it's a good day out and I should be up for it. Mind you Marc, if I'm not mistaken, your previous attempt to turn out for Westies at this event resulted in you missing the ferry because your phut-phut couldn't negotiate the Dalry hills fast enough? I suggest that you start out on the Thursday this time...just in case.
Also, given that the last two Westies outings to Arran have resulted in serious injuries/hospitalisation (Jane & Hamilton), can anyone confirm that the Mountain Rescue will be available?

Defintely not doing the 2nd leg north which is a killer one this time. Come on hill guys just give it up for once and turn out for this great race. The hills will always be there apart from the odd view distorted by a couple of wind farm.
