Ticks
Yes, it's that time of year again, and let this serve as atimely reminder that there are all sorts of nasties lurking in the rapidly growing bracken that graces our countryside. Sheila and I have spent the best part of an hour this eve pulling the blighters off my legs - either embedded and enjoying a feast of the best Robinson blood, or still crawling around. We hope that the 27th one was the last!!! Of scientific interest, we used the essential oil RED THYME to shift them, but I hear whisky is just as good!! Hopefully next time we meet, I shall have stopped scratching. I suppose avoidance is the best cure, but if you must run through the stuff, then either shave your legs first, or wear your tracksters!! Take care now.
