POST- EASTER FIFE STRAVAIGIN ANYONE?????
Is there interest out there in a Westies relay run over the Fife Coastal Path on Saturday 24 April? Approx 60miles from below the Forth Road Railway Bridge at North Queensferry to St.Andrews. It is a great mixture of a little tarmac and lots of off road stuff on beaches, trails, clifftops, harbours, golf courses etc.
The idea would be to split it up into 8 legs of between 6-10 miles, with teams of 4 Westies, each running 2 legs. If we started @ 9a.m. then we would finish @ 8-9 hours later in St.Andrews. We could then stay the night (Camping on Louise's lawn; B&B; hostel etc.) and have a good shindig in St.Andrews.
Please reply if you are interested.
