WESTIES DINNER FINAL DETAILS
Dear fellow Westies,
"Entries" are now closed and the following illustrious guest list will be out enjoying themselves on Sat 13th while the rest of you stay in ( that means you Mark!):-
His Lordship Don Jonnelly LLb., Dip.L.P., S.H.I.T. will preside over the evening's festivities assisted in matters spiritual (and alcoholical) by His Holiness the Daily Lhama Campbell and The Worshipful Isotonic Coombs. Also in attendance will be Professor Myfanwy Calder and escort, Captain Charles Campbell and Lady Campbell, Dr. and Mrs. Struttheirstuff, Mr. Grimorr and daughter (24), Baron and Baronness Turnbull of Lyttleton, Dr. Elspeth Scott and companion, Herr Steffen Gorgas M.D., Dr. Anastasia Talbot, K.Adams Esq., Mr. Jonathan Slowe ENG., Duchess Patricia McLaughlin, Donald Smith S.A.G.A., Nigella Scott, Christopher Upson F.R.A., Her Highness Helen MacPherson and The Merciful Maureen Scott.
1st Aid cover is being provided by Dr. Flaming Gibbon, assisted by Nurse Stillyung Irvine. We have managed to secure the world famous Badly Drawn Blairboy to provide the music, although his fee has gobbled up all of our club funds and next year's subs will have to treble, so he better be good! We have even managed to fly down Skye's eccentric millionaire absentee landowner Sir Askival Comerun of Dunvegan to present the year's prizes. There is even going to be a mystery guest appearance by world champion hillrunner!
The menu is as follows, and to try and make things go easier on the night I would like you to reply with your choice of starter, main course and dessert within the next few days. I will ask the restaurant if they will buy in a few slabs of Greenmantle and I.P.A. for the real drinkers.
