TINTO RACES (Saturday 8th November)

Tinto Junior Race (2 miles 800ft, start time 2.02pm)

The third Tinto Junior Race is open to 12 - 17 year olds (inclusive) and covers a course which is roughly half the senior race. There are prizes (U18, U16, U14) and goodies available. One of the best races around to introduce juniors to hill running.

Tinto Fort Fun Run (< 1 mile, start time 2.05pm)

There is also a Tinto Fort fun run open to anyone, particularly novices, youngsters and maybe even retired (from hill racing!!) parents. The course is less than a mile and good fun. Bring the kids along. Juice, sweetie and certificate to all finishers.

and don`t forget....

Tinto Senior Race (4.5 miles, 1500ft, start time 2.00pm)

One of the best races in Scotland, a fairly runnable, occasionally tough climb, and a stupendous (fun!!) flying descent, all on good paths.

Registration for Junior and Senior Race at Symington Village Hall by 1.30pm. Start and Fun Run registration at walkers carpark north of Tinto (near Fallburn).
