Tour of Pendle
Tour of Pendle - Barley, nr Clitheroe, Lancashire
Saturday 15th November 2003
17 miles / 4250ft
Pretty cold and windy.
A generally fast runnable course interspersed with brutally steep drops and climbs.
The final climb is reminiscent of the Trahenna experience at the Two Breweries
where you look back and see 20 runners on your heels.
Leigh overtook me at the halfway point and clawed is way up to 11th.
Brian pipped me on the road section at the end.
"Scoffer" Schofield won the race for the third time.
